Easy Steps To Your Pool Installation
We will need to excavate your site. Please be sure to have a 6’ wide opening to your site to allow the excavation equipment. There may be an additional charge to create this opening. If we are unable to get the equipment on site, an additional hand-dig charge may apply. (bob cat track disclaimer)
You will receive your sand delivery up to a week prior to your installation date. The sand will need to be covered to keep it dry and free from debris. We will try to get the sand as close as possible to the pool site for ease of installation. The sand delivery truck requires an 8’ opening if available. You may advise the driver of your preferred sand drop site. (Truck damage disclaimer?)
The decision maker of the home should be present on the date of the install. The installers will need a clear path to the pool site, a power outlet, and a hose hook up. The installers will need to see the excavators contract to determine the set backs for your installation. At this time you can inform the installers of your ideal filter and pump location.
Please remember……during the intensely busy pool season, there is rarely a week that goes by where set backs don’t occur. For example:
- This is a short but extremely busy season for everyone. Please work with us to help speed along the installation process.
- Weather can be a big set back that we unfortunately can’t control.
- There can be permit or site issues. Please submit your permit packet ASAP. Keep your site dry and as clean from roots and debris as possible.
- Pools can arrive with missing parts or cartons. Please inventory your parts prior to the installation day.
This is the reason why we schedule our crews on a 5 day work week. This allows us to “make up” any pools that cannot be installed on their scheduled date. This is usually done on a Saturday so it doesn’t require the home owner to have to take another day off from work.
Due to the success of this method of scheduling it is not unusual for us to be able to move up schedule dates for early installation. For this reason we ask that all of our customers to be prepared for their installation as soon as possible. Once you have your permits, excavation, and pool, we can move your installation date up to the next available date.
